Step one: export as .docx
In Google Docs: File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx). That single export preserves your headings, italics, footnotes and images — everything doc2epub needs. (Google's own “Download as EPUB” exists, but it produces a bare conversion: no typesetting, no front matter, no validation, and nothing for print.)
Step two: upload it here
Drop the .docx in the box above. Chapters are detected automatically — from your heading styles if you used them, from the text if you didn't — and you review the result before anything is final.
