What “print-ready” actually means
Printers — Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or your local shop — want an interior PDF with the page size equal to your book's trim size, mirrored inside/outside margins, and a gutter (the inner margin) that grows with your page count so the text never drowns in the binding. doc2epub computes all of it from the arithmetic KDP publishes, for the trim you pick.
